About

The safety of women and children is our paramount concern. AMHC is a not-for-profit based in Newman in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. AMHC offers an alternative to incarceration for men that use violence against women and children. The centre aims to heal these men and break the cycle of violence.

Design & Build

The AMHC site is located on a significant dreaming path - Kangaroo Dreaming. This path is recognised as a male ceremonial pathway. AMHC’s architectural and engineering partners are working tirelessly to design and build the healing centre in Newman.
